Job summary

U.S. Engineering Innovations is seeking a Superintendent to deliver successful mechanical installation projects and provide on-site administrative and technical management of field activities.

You will interpret drawings, guide the project team, and monitor budget and safety, while building strong relationships with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical construction, a relevant engineering degree, and experience in project management or field leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science Management, Architectural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred; equivalent combination of mechanical field and leadership experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction industry.
• Experience assisting with project management or field leadership preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; knowledge of project management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance, interpret drawings, and recommend construction methods and equipment.
• Build relationships with the project team, providing leadership and guidance.
• Responsible for project profitability through field performance and site expenditures
• Assess risk factors, meeting safety, schedule and quality expectations.
• Complete some paperwork, though much of that is completed digitally with internal document workflows.
