Job summary

U.S. Engineering Innovations is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field operations and manage labor for mechanical construction projects.

You will help plan, schedule, and oversee work while ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence. The role requires 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Field experience in construction management, mechanical systems, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience on mechanical construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and overseeing mechanical construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
• Supervise field crews and provide guidance, support, and evaluations.
• Monitor timelines and budgets and allocate resources.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, piping, and plumbing.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues related to mechanical construction.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and progress updates.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
