Job summary

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead and coordinate the mechanical scope of projects in and around Jacksonville, FL. Qualified candidates located outside the area may be eligible for relocation assistance.

This role requires coordinating with mechanical superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to deliver safe, on-schedule, and within-budget outcomes on complex commercial and government projects. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing mechanical work on commercial or government projects valued at $5 million+.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; Primavera P6 preferred.
• Experience with BIM software preferred; training available.
• Mechanical field or trade experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical work on assigned projects.
• Coordinate with mechanical superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure safety and compliance with contract and government requirements.
