Job summary

RQ Construction, LLC seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanics on active projects in and around the Jacksonville, FL area. You will coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and the project team to keep work on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering or construction management background, with 5+ years managing mechanical scopes on large projects. Travel to sites is required; relocation support is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred; high school diploma required.
• Experience managing mechanical scope on commercial or government construction projects valued at $5M+.
• Experience with military/government or Design-Build projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel and Primavera P6 is preferred; BIM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and day-to-day management of mechanical scope on assigned projects.
• Collaborate with superintendents, subcontractors, and project team to meet schedule and budget.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with contract and government requirements.
• Travel to project sites as required.
