Job summary

Summit Construction Advisors is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale multifamily and commercial mechanical construction projects in Dallas. You will oversee projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction are achieved.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in commercial mechanical construction, with multifamily project experience strongly preferred, and excellent communication and leadership skills to manage multiple

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial mechanical construction.
  • Multifamily project experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, and construction operations.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multifamily and commercial mechanical construction projects from kickoff through completion
  • Develop project schedules, manpower plans, and execution strategies in collaboration with field and operations teams
  • Monitor project financials, including budgets, forecasting, billing, and cost tracking
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, equipment procurement, and material deliveries
  • Conduct preconstruction and project planning meetings while driving accountability on action items
  • Maintain communication with clients, field leadership, and internal stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges
  • Review project reports and proactively identify solutions to maintain schedule and budget objectives
  • Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project documentation
  • Perform site visits, progress reviews, and quality inspections throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices

This individual will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful execution related to schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
