Job summary
Stantec is seeking an MCF Engineer to perform technical duties under supervision of a Senior Project Engineer. You will identify project requirements, develop basic system designs, and guide designers while coordinating with multiple disciplines on data center projects.
The role opens to any Stantec office with the right candidate. Required is an accredited engineering degree and at least 3 years of related experience; PE/FE/EIT or equivalent certification is preferred.
Qualifications
- Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 3 years related industry experience.
- PE/FE/EIT or other professional certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops basic system designs within own discipline under supervision.
- Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
- Prepares project deliverables per client scope and proposal.
- Coordinates with all disciplines to integrate work and requests.
- Follows QA process and reviews deliverables prior to submission.
- Assists with shop drawings, RFIs, site observations and punch lists.
- Participates in professional community for growth.
- Assists Project Engineer on project tasks.
- Meets utilization goals and adheres to budget.
