Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings-US North Central MCF team is seeking a dedicated MCF Engineer to perform technical duties under supervision, develop basic system designs, and guide designers on project tasks. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge data center projects and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The position requires an accredited engineering degree, 3+ years of related experience, and PE/FE/EIT or equivalent certification. Location flexibility includes WA Seattle and other Stantec offices.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years related industry experience.
• Registered PE/FE/EIT or other certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops basic system designs within own discipline under supervision of a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer; this includes the ability to offer solutions to general technical problems.
• Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Works with the project team to prepare deliverables per the client’s scope of work.
• Coordinates with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests into design.
• Follows quality management process; reviews deliverables prior to QA/AC reviewer.
• Assists with reviews of shop drawings and submittals, RFI responses, site observation reports, and punch lists.
• Participates in engineering community activities for professional growth.
• Assists the Project Engineer on project tasks.
• Meets utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
