Job summary

Ruveon in Muscatine, IA is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Project Engineer to lead capital projects within Active Ingredient manufacturing and Formulations facilities. You will provide daily tactical direction, apply engineering skills, and ensure safe, cost-efficient project execution in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, at least four years of progressive experience, and proficiency with SAP, Prometheus, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Four years of progressive engineering experience.
• Strong E&I troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in SAP, Prometheus, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with layout of construction or shutdown activities related to project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering project management to capital projects, from project initiation through completion.
• Responsible for moderate project complexity and moderate project load.
• Develop accurate project cost estimates, identify cost-savings, and provide updates to management.
• Lead project reviews and assure thorough action item follow-up.
• Develop clear and concise appropriation requests, communicate and present background and justification.
• Select appropriate vendors, soliciting bids with Purchasing.
• Assist Construction Field Coordinators with project implementation requirements; visit job sites to review work activities, safety, and construction.
• Accurately document project files and closure information in a timely manner.
• Ensure systems and equipment are designed and installed in accordance with Bayer and regulatory standards with life cycle cost considered.
• Provide input and engineering assistance to site personnel to facilitate application of plant and corporate standards, safety procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
