Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Successfully completed sophomore year or higher and returning to school after internship.
• Ability to commute daily to Muscatine, IA.
• Willingness to work in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and climb stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineers and Staff to improve chemical processes including yield, capacity, waste reductions, cycle time, and equipment modifications.
• Troubleshoot and provide recommendations for mechanical equipment to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Support design, installation, and start-up of automatic process control and material handling systems.
• Assist with developing project objectives, specifications, and customer approvals.
