Upgrade Resources is seeking a Project Engineer II - Mechanical in Carrollton, TX. This on-site, full-time role supports multiple mechanical projects and acts as the lead technical resource on smaller efforts, overseeing submittals, procurement, and coordination with contractors.

You will interpret drawings, manage change orders, estimate impacts on schedule and budget, and collaborate with management and stakeholders to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Ability to read mechanical and plumbing plans.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the project team on mechanical projects.
• Serve as the lead technical resource on smaller projects.
• Collaborate with management and stakeholders on project matters.
• Inform management on issues affecting timeline and budget.
• Manage change orders and estimate their impact.
• Expedite materials as needed.
• Assemble submittal packages and documentation.
• Procure equipment, materials, and services.
• Participate in subcontractor selection and hiring.
• Resolve complex technical questions in HVAC and plumbing.
