icon Mechanical in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Project Manager II to lead all phases of mechanical construction, from design coordination to field execution, ensuring budget, schedule, and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of PM experience in mechanical construction, a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with MS Project/P6 and industry tools. This is a full-time role with strong growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Project Manager experience in mechanical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering or proven CM experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems and construction standards.
• Experience using MS Office, Viewpoint, ProCore, ACC Build, and BlueBeam.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, organize, and distribute contract documents and submittals.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinator to log closeout docs and manuals.
• Ensure jobsite safety compliance and coordinate high-risk activities.
• Oversee field installation of mechanical, plumbing, and specialty systems.
• Manage subcontractor performance and contracts, schedules, and changes.
• Develop and manage project schedules and drive weekly work plans.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and logistics with teams and vendors.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and cash flow; provide financial updates.
