Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License.
  • Four to six years of job related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, installation and testing of mechanical systems and components.
  • Develop engineering project schedules.
  • Conduct analyses of mechanical system performance; prescribe corrective action where required.
  • Develop plans and specifications for mechanical systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical systems; may involve calibration and repair work.
  • Prepare drawings, schematic diagrams and other documentation associated with mechanical components and systems.
  • Provide input to and administer project engineering budgets.
  • Interact with vendors regarding procurement and delivery issues.
  • Participate in project reviews for conformance to quality standards and applicable codes and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
