You will collaborate with staff, project managers, and vendors to develop long-term replacement and annual execution plans.

Role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field, 6–8 years of experience, and ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Overnight travel required; flexibility in on-site daily service delivery hours.
  • Six to eight years of job related experience.
  • FE or EIT certified; Georgia Professional Engineering License or LEED Certification.
  • Master's Degree in related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support and assist the Utilities and Power Plant Superintendents in the operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Develop and manage replacement and repair projects for mechanical components and systems with in-house and contract services.
  • Maintain a campus 1-year equipment replacement plan; develop the annual MRR execution plan.
  • Assist area managers to solve issues involving Mechanical systems.
  • Define training needs and provide or coordinate training services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
