Job summary

Stratus seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to take on complex design tasks, manage portions of projects, and ensure designs meet technical and regulatory standards.

The role requires a ABET-accredited engineering degree and 3–4 years of design/project delivery experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. A hybrid work setup is supported to balance client needs and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of engineering designs for complex project components.
• Perform analyses, calculations, and simulations to meet codes and client requirements.
• Create detailed CAD models and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors for integrated building systems.
• Support project management tasks including scheduling and deliverables.
• Attend meetings to present concepts and provide technical updates.
