Job summary

COMPANY NAME in the United States seeks a Project Engineer to oversee engineering projects from inception to customer buy-off. You will protect health and safety, manage budget and timeline, and coordinate with customers, internal teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

You will review specifications, lead risk and change management, and maintain KPI-focused progress reporting across multiple projects. Strong experience in automation or automotive environments is required.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor’s degree in automation, engineering, or business preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in automation industry or automotive company, preferably Powertrain.

Responsibilities

• Protect health, safety and welfare of yourself and others per company policies.
• Coordinate with customer, internal teams and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Interpret customer requirements and specifications to ensure alignment across the organization.
• Review Government and Industry Specifications and ensure compliance.
• Lead project planning and handover meetings; manage open issues and lessons learned.
• Coordinate System Engineers to ensure homogeneous solutions across commodities.
• Maintain project schedule and manage budget; monitor scope changes and CTc.
• Scout suppliers and prepare RFQ contents; document scope changes with impact.
• Act as Customer Technical Interface and drive timely responses to client needs.
