Job summary

Trinseo LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer (Chemical Manufacturing) to identify, evaluate and coordinate design and implementation of capital and expense projects in our Bristol, PA plant. The role interfaces with manufacturing teams, engineering, R&D and in-plant resources to deliver projects within the capital budget.

The candidate will lead project management activities, drive improvements for mechanical reliability, and support safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical industry environment.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Process Safety and mechanical integrity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill the role of project manager for plant capital and expense projects to meet yearly budget commitments.
• Identify, evaluate and define improvement opportunities to increase mechanical reliability of equipment and plant infrastructure.
• Manage the mechanical integrity (MI) inspection program and implement MI report remediations.
• Support safety programs and initiatives directed by HE&S.
