Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer to perform technical duties under supervision. You will understand project requirements and work independently within your discipline while mentoring Designers.

Responsibilities include delivering design deliverables and supporting the project manager to maintain timeline and budget. The role emphasizes participation in the professional community, adherence to quality standards, and clear communication with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 4 years related industry experience preferred.
• Registered professional engineer (PE) license, or other professional certification based on area of expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops advanced systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer.
• May provide QC review and approves small-scale projects as requested by the technical authority.
• Actively participates in the engineering/professional community to build knowledge and growth.
