Job summary

Baker Group in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Project Controls Specialist - Mechanical to develop and maintain project schedules, analyze cost data, and support the Mechanical Project Team in delivering projects on time and within budget.

You will create WBS, CPM schedules, and reporting to monitor labor productivity and forecast costs, while collaborating with foremen, estimators, and project managers to ensure accurate baseline and change order handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Six years of related work experience.
• Proven experience with MS Office, Primavera P6, and/or other scheduling software.
• Construction knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with budgets.
• Create and track cost forecasting and baselines.
• Collaborate with PMs, Foreman, and Estimators on WBS and CPM.
• Prepare and present project control reports.
• Update schedules and cost data with changes.
