Job summary

Aerotek, an established staffing and services provider, seeks a Second Ops Technician to support secondary operations in an injection metal molding environment. The role focuses on tooling setups, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring quality parts while maintaining a safe, productive floor with steady shifts.

Training and data entry are involved. The position emphasizes mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with automation and CNC equipment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination and troubleshooting skills.

• Basic to moderate computer skills, particularly in MS Office.

Job Description

The Second Ops Technician plays a crucial role in supporting secondary operations activities. This position involves performing tooling set-ups, aiding in troubleshooting production issues, and monitoring product quality and process productivity. The technician will also perform equipment set-ups, including installing injection molds and ensuring the equipment generates good parts.

Work Environment

This role is based in an Injection Metal Molding company with a floor stacked with molding machines, creating a fairly crowded environment. The work environment maintains a high level of safety focus. The available work schedules are Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
