Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to define, develop, and verify high-voltage and low-voltage system requirements for our EV platform. You will document architectures, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support charging system integration.

Collaborate with Powertrain, Battery, Harness, Functional Safety, and Software teams to meet vehicle targets and energy management goals. A BEV-focused background and ISO 26262 familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years in automotive systems engineering with BEV focus
• Experience with BEV energy management and BMS
• Familiar with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 or MIL-STD-882E a plus
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Develop HV and LV system architectures, technical specifications, and power budgets in Flow Engineering
• Write requirements, fault-management strategies, and test plans for HV and LV subsystems
• Collaborate with Powertrain, Battery, Harness, Functional Safety, and Software teams to meet targets
• Define vehicle operational power modes and manage LV power consumption across states
• Define charging protocols, charging transitions, and interface standards
