RFA Engineering seeks an Entry-Level to experienced Mechanical Product Engineer to join our team onsite at a world-class customer facility. You will work with a seasoned staff to implement changes, improve reliability, and support new product development across machines and documentation.

The role involves collaborating with design, manufacturing, quality, and testing teams, analyzing BOMs, and validating new components. A Mechanical Engineering degree and CAD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-7 years experience in mechanical design, product development, or product support.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specs and BOMs.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CAD and product data management systems preferred.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment or testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineering changes to improve product performance and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality and testing teams to update designs across product platforms.
• Analyze BOMs and identify opportunities for part commonization and substitutions.
• Process and document engineering change requests with accurate product records.
• Support product improvement through evaluation and implementation of design changes.
• Participate in quality investigations and evaluate component performance.
• Perform machine fit-ups, inspections and validation to verify design intent.
• Coordinate with teams to resolve product issues and support new product development.
