Job summary

RFA Engineering is seeking an Entry-Mid Level engineer to join our team onsite at a world-class facility. You will work with experienced staff on product development, validation, testing, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems and equipment.

The role involves test planning, data acquisition, analysis, and collaboration with engineering, validation, manufacturing, and suppliers. Up to ~25% travel may be required; full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Engineering testing or validation experience.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and product development.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, schematics, and reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent technical communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to plan projects, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to travel up to ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, conduct, analyze, and manage product validation and development testing.
• Create test plans and procedures for mechanical systems and equipment.
• Coordinate design and procurement of prototype hardware for testing.
• Set up test equipment, instrumentation, sensors, and gaging.
• Use data acquisition systems to collect test data and analyze results.
• Evaluate performance, reliability, and durability from test data.
• Perform vibration, durability, and structural testing activities.
• Support validation through lab and field testing.
• Investigate test and field failures and provide technical guidance.
• Communicate conclusions in technical reports and with teams.
