Toyota Material Handling North America invites a motivated Engineering Co‑op – Product Engineering (Mechanical) to join from January to August 2027. You will work on real issues on the production floor, design improvements with Creo, and participate in engineering change processes.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0+ or higher required.
• Enrollment in Mechanical Engineering or related program.
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing at time of co‑op.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Co‑op Term: January–August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Investigate manufacturing and product issues on the production floor with engineers.
• Design and implement mechanical improvements using Creo and drawings.
• Plan, conduct, and document laboratory, production, and vehicle testing to validate performance.
• Own multiple engineering projects from problem identification through design, implementation, and production release with mentoring.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, Supplier Quality, and Operations teams to solve technical problems and improve products.
• Take projects from concept through production on material handling equipment.
