Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op for Spring & Summer 2027 at our Greene, NY site. You will join the Manufacturing Engineering team, responsible for design and improvement of tools, fixtures, and processes within a Toyota Production System environment, with mentorship provided.

This paid, hands-on role emphasizes data analysis, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

GPA of at least 3.0.
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in manufacturing/industrial/mechanical engineering or related field.
Junior standing by the start of the co‑op term.

Responsibilities

Be a self-sufficient entry-level engineer with mentor support.
Lead projects impacting daily production operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
Assist in development and modification of manufacturing processes in TPS environment.
Collect data and analyze to improve processes and capacity.
