Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is seeking 12 Mechanical Systems Engineering Co-Ops for Spring/Summer/Fall 2027 at Greene, NY. You will gain hands-on experience designing and prototyping mechanical systems for material handling, under mentorship and leadership guidance.

As an entry-level engineer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn corporate tools and contribute to economical, robust solutions.

Qualifications

• GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Onsite in Greene, NY from January to May or January to August, or May to August or May to December 2027.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor as an entry-level engineer.

The Role:

We’re seeking 12 motivatedMechanical Systems Engineering Co-Opsto join our team thisSpring and/or Summer and/or Fall of 2027. This co‑op offers hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment where you’ll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into material handling equipment design. You’ll collaborate with the mechanical systems team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working as an entry‑level engineer with an assigned mentor.
• Designing, developing, prototyping, and testing mechanical systems and components with a focus on Class III material handling equipment design.
• Learn corporate tools and methods to develop mechanical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Working in a corporate team environment creating and developing efficient, economical solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Available for onsite assignment in our Greene, NY location from January to May or January to August, or May to August or May to December 2027.
