Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of tendering/estimation experience for mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting).
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software is expected.

The Mechanical Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for preparing and delivering cohesive and competitive technical and financial proposals for mechanical engineering projects in the Construction sector. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems, industry standards, and a collaborative approach to interfacing with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure winning tenders and optimum project strategies.

• Conduct thorough reviews of tenders to ensure compliance with client specifications and company standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including project managers, procurement, and production to gather necessary information and resources for tender submissions.
• Perform cost analyses and provide accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.
• Attend pre-tender meetings and communicate effectively with clients to clarify project requirements and expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to inform tender strategies and identify opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a database of past projects, cost estimates, and tender results for future reference and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in tendering/estimation for mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.).

• Experience with electromechanical (MEP) projects is an advantage.
