Job summary

IMEG is looking for a Mechanical or Plumbing Designer in Broomall, PA. In this role, you will lead design projects for low to moderate complexity, collaborate with engineers, manage project budgets, and support high-complexity work. Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related fields with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience. The expected salary range is $71,000 - $94,000 with additional benefits including health insurance and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in building design consulting based on track.
• EIT Certification and ASPE Certifications preferred for Plumbing track professionals.
• Technical knowledge in thermodynamics, psychrometrics, and fluid mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and build relationships.
• Support project planning and budgeting while tracking progress.
• Analyze engineering problems and develop practical solutions collaboratively.
• Implement quality control processes to meet standards.
