Job summary

Worley is seeking a Superintendent - Mechanical/Piping to provide site-based leadership for mechanical and piping construction, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and alignment with project objectives. This role centers on coordinating field operations, supervising diverse teams, and driving safety, quality, and collaboration across engineering, procurement, commissioning, and management.

You will guide turnover and ensure compliance with codes and Worley's standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience supervising mechanical and piping construction in industrial or large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems and mechanical equipment installation.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, workforce, and resources.
• Commitment to safety, quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site mechanical and piping construction activities safely and efficiently.
• Promote proactive health, safety, environmental, and quality practices.
• Coordinate field administration, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Serve as primary site contact with customers, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Provide leadership to field personnel and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, evaluate performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Incorporate sustainability-focused solutions into project delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and QA teams.
• Manage workforce planning, productivity, and resources.
• Ensure installation work conforms to specs, codes, and standards.
• Oversee turnover and construction completion activities.
