Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced estimator to lead full-cycle bids across commercial, healthcare, K–12, and industrial projects. You’ll translate designs into budgets, coordinate vendor quotes, and ensure pricing complies with national piping codes.

Expect collaboration with teams, writers of scope letters, bid kickoffs, and post-mortems to drive continuous improvement. Willing to relocate to Fort Wayne, IN.

Qualifications

• Proven construction and piping experience.
• Extensive full-cycle bid experience with on-time delivery.
• Knowledge of national piping codes.
• Experience in commercial/healthcare/K–12/industrial estimating.
• Comfort working with vendors and subcontractors to develop proposals.
• Proficiency with Quotesoft or Accubid estimating platforms.
• Willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster fair, positive working relationships across the team; communicate clearly and consistently.
• Own heavy, full-cycle bidding—from takeoff through proposal and turnover.
• Contribute after award with buyouts, scope clarifications, and lessons-learned reviews.
• Apply working knowledge of national piping codes in your estimates and scopes.
• Estimate projects in commercial, healthcare, K–12, or industrial markets, and build conceptual estimates from budgets or schematic design.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to secure accurate, timely pricing and coverage.
• Use estimating software such as Quotesoft, Accubid, or comparable tools to deliver precise quantities and pricing.
• Write scope letters, lead bid kickoffs, and participate in post-mortems to drive continuous improvement.
