MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Pipefitter to join our Utah Division in the Eagle Mountain area. This full-time role focuses on the installation of piping and equipment for water/wastewater projects with hands-on field work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least five (5) years of experience installing piping and equipment on multi-functional water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and comprehend blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Lay out large and small diameter mechanical piping and equipment such as clarifiers, filters, chemical rooms, and pumps.
• Monitor site safety for all on-site personnel and subcontractors.
• Assist the Project Superintendent in monitoring project labor.
• Understand equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring processes.
• Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
• Work with piping materials including PVC, steel, stainless steel, and DIP; operate lift equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
