Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Pipefitter for our Utah Division in the Eagle Mountain area. This full-time role requires five or more years of piping installation on water and wastewater projects and a high school diploma or GED.

You will read blueprints, layout piping and equipment, and help maintain safety on-site while coordinating with the Project Superintendent. Occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least five (5) years of experience installing piping and equipment on water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and comprehend blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Lay out piping and equipment such as clarifiers, filters, and pumps.
• Monitor site safety for on-site personnel and subcontractors.
• Assist Project Superintendent with labor monitoring.
• Understand equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring.
• Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
• Know piping materials: PVC, Steel, SST, DIP.
• Operate forklift, scissor lift and boom lift as needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned.
