Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Process Equipment Installer to join our Utah Division in Eagle Mountain. You will review blueprints, lay out piping, and install equipment such as clarifiers and pumps at multi-functional water/wastewater sites.

Requires at least five years of piping/equipment installation experience, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to work full-time on-site with potential overtime. This position emphasizes safety and on-site teamwork.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least five (5) years of experience installing piping and equipment on water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

Review blueprints and specifications for installation work.
Lay out large and small diameter piping and install equipment such as clarifiers, pumps, and filtration systems.
Monitor on-site safety for personnel and subcontractors.
Assist the Project Superintendent with labor monitoring.
Understand equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring processes.
Operate or assist with forklift, scissor lift and boom lift as needed.
