Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Millwright for its Utah Division in the Eagle Mountain area to install piping and equipment on water and wastewater projects. You will read blueprints, lay out piping, and oversee alignment and anchoring while maintaining safety on site.

Minimum five years of related experience and a High School Diploma or GED are required. This is a full-time position with potential overtime and outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) years of experience installing piping and equipment on multi-functional water/wastewater projects required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review and comprehend blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Lay out large and small diameter piping and install equipment such as clarifiers, filters, chemical rooms, aeration basins, pumps.
• Monitor safety for all on-site personnel and subcontractors.
• Assist the Project Superintendent in monitoring project labor.
• Understand the process of equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring.
• Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
