Job summary

AVL Manufacturing USA in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to bridge engineering and operations, improving efficiency and quality in the production cycle for our power-generation and energy-storage systems.

You will interpret designs, support assembly processes, and work with production teams to implement engineering changes, root-cause analyses, and tooling improvements to meet budget and schedules.

Qualifications

  • College diploma in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering Technology or University Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engin

Responsibilities

  • Interpret approved design models/drawings and communicate solutions to shop floor
  • Improve overall plant assembly efficiency including fabrication and production
  • Assist in creating and implementing engineering change requests (ECR) and corrective actions
  • Support root-cause analyses and develop corrective measures with QA
  • Work with Engineering and Operations to develop methods, tools, jigs, etc., for improving the assembly process

Qualific
