Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and drive systems.
• Diagnose failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Assist with equipment installations, alignment, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with electrical/controls staff to resolve complex issues.
• Adhere to safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine lubrication.

Job description

We are seeking hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical systems, power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The ideal candidate can diagnose equipment problems, perform repairs, and complete preventive maintenance to keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, mechanical assemblies, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and drive systems.

Diagnose mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, cylinders, valves, and related components.

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and component replacements.

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation.

Assist with equipment installations, modifications, alignment, and commissioning.

Work with electrical and controls technicians to resolve complex equipment issues.

Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; technical certification or trade school training preferred.

5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills, including experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Familiarity with mechanical power transmission, bearings, gearboxes, motors, and industrial production equipment.

Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Comfortable working independently on night shift with minimal supervision.
