Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to provide hands‑on repairs and maintenance of all equipment and machinery through preventative and troubleshooting measures. This position will support all Marle Elite facilities.

Essential Job Functions

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and/or electrical failures on equipment; provide technical assistance to support vendors as needed.
• Support the development of and maintain a routine preventative maintenance program for all equipment.
• Maintain, repair, and/or provide technical assistance to vendors for facility and grounds systems (HVAC, electrical, compressors, security, and sprinklers).
• Install and move equipment as needed.
• Log and maintain records of repairs.
• Prevent damage, through carelessness, to the equipment or process used in the performance of the job.
• Follow Marle's environmental and safety procedures.
• Follow written and verbal directions from team leader/supervisor.
• Work with all departments to aid as necessary.

Qualifications Requirements

Associate’s degree or trade course certificate from a two‑year college or technical school; 3+ years of work experience as a maintenance technician with progressive growth in responsibilities; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Physical Skills

Ability to use hand tools such as, but not limited to wrenches, screwdriver, Allen wrench, etc.

Trade Knowledge

Basic knowledge of electricity and electrical components; basic computer knowledge, ability to read blueprints and schematics, demonstrated knowledge and ability to employ safe work practices. Working knowledge of CNC machinery is required.

Other Skills & Abilities: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push/pull and reach for long periods; occasionally climbing will be required. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to complete tasks. The duties require continuous mental or visual attention.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works with and/or near moving mechanical parts, fumes and air‑borne particles. The noise level in the work environment is typically noisy. Hearing protection is not required for normal duties but may be required for some special situations.
