Job summary

Elite Construction Company is hiring an Experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The role focuses on safe machine operation, routine preventive maintenance, and collaboration with production to keep lines running smoothly.

Candidates should have mechanical/electrical maintenance experience, the ability to read drawings, and strong problem solving skills. This on-site position requires third shift hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience maintaining industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ability to pass drug screen, physical and background check.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work-at-heights.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and within 60 miles of job location.
• Experience reading and interpreting machine electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience prioritizing down-time severity.
• Experience troubleshooting root causes and applying long‑term solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day safe machine operation.
• Must work safe and follow all company and industry related safety rules and practices.
• Does not take shortcuts – always follow proper safety procedures when working on or around machinery.
• Follow all lock out/tag out procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Ensure that all PMS are done on schedule.
• Works collaboratively with all employees, always remembering that the maintenance department services production.
• Must be capable to learn and perform start-up/shutdown procedures safely for the power plant based upon schedule and plant requirements.
• Notifies Level I technician or Lead Technician when maintenance supplies are low so that they can be replenished on time.
• Participate in Maintenance meetings collaboratively.
• Attend safety meetings as directed.
• Any other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be experienced and dedicated to meet high demands.
• Be dependable, teamwork attitude, and hardworking.

Elite Construction is hiring an Experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.

TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work-at-heights
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and within 60 miles of job location
• Ability to pass drug screen, physical and background check
• Cleaning, inspecting, setting up, diagnosing, replacing, testing, and performing continuous improvements on equipment
• Assisting in the diagnoses of electrical and mechanical malfunctions in machinery and equipment by inspecting visually and listening to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunction
• Identifying and reporting the need for repairs to Maintenance Management
• Conducting crossover with previous shifts’ maintenance and production employees to review the schedule and current runs
• Identifying what needs repair and plan product changeovers
• Professionally communicating with other departments to share updates on equipment and repair status
• Working with the maintenance team to accurately communicate/document events so that others have the most effective information to solve problems
• Experience prioritizing down-time severity
• Experience using a computer
• Experience troubleshooting root causes and applying long‑term solutions
• Minimum of 6 months of experience maintaining industrial machinery and equipment
• Experience reading and interpreting machine electrical and mechanical drawings

What Will Put You Ahead

• A degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and industrial electrical skills

$22.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Successful candidate must be able to work the third (1st) shift from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with occasional weekend.
