Job summary

Allura in North Wilkesboro, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Mechanical to diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment. You will test, install, replace or modify components and work with mechanical systems across the plant.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic reading of mechanical drawings, and knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems and electrical basics. You will operate safely with PPE and contribute to environmental and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and difficulties.
• Make repairs or adjustments.
• Test, install, replacement or modification of components.
• Maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Repair machine parts using welding techniques.
• Read measuring instruments and align machinery.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Oversee lower level mechanics or contractors.
• Observe SOPs and safety policies.
• Communicate with production operators and supervisors.
• Climb ladders to heights over 10’
