Job summary

Walmart in Lumberton, NC is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, read blueprints and schematics, and troubleshoot complex problems with power and automation systems.

You will operate material handling gear, assist other technicians, and uphold Walmart's standards of safety, integrity, and customer focus while supporting a fast-paced facility in a community-focused retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment or related coursework/certification.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment per procedures.
• Read and understand drawings to repair/maintain equipment.
• Operate material handling and power equipment safely.
• Assist other maintenance technicians and troubleshoot complex problems.
• Ensure safety, integrity and reliability of Walmart facilities.
