Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Pine Hall, NC. This hands-on role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing diverse manufacturing systems, with a focus on mechanical work, bearings, motors, and electrical components.

You will work on-site, night shift, and report to the Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, knowledge of reliability-centered practices, and the ability to read diagrams and operate

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of bearings, motors, gearboxes, and major electrical components.
• Safety knowledge and positive safety behaviors.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration, thermography, ultrasound, motor circuit analysis).
• Ability to read, write and communicate information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily installation, maintenance, service, and repair of manufacturing systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical).
• Maintenance of central and auxiliary systems and water treatment.
• Inspect equipment and troubleshoot issues; document in CMMS.
• Provide feedback to planners and supervisors to improve procedures.
• Train operators and production supervisors.
