Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking aMechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Green Bay Broadway facility. You will work on mechanical equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotating equipment, troubleshooting and repairing to improve reliability.

The role involves a 2-2-3 12-hour swing shift with a $7/hour shift premium, with overtime as needed. You will read drawings, contribute to preventive maintenance, and uphold safety policies in a busy paper mill environment.

Qualifications

Three or more years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting or military environment.
Technical degree in mechanical or industrial maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair industrial mechanical equipment to support reliable operation.
Inspect equipment, diagnose failures and identify repairs.
Read mechanical drawings, manuals, and specs for troubleshooting.
Perform preventive, corrective, and unplanned maintenance.
Follow safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment.
Communicate maintenance activities and equipment needs with the team.
Support reliability improvements across the mill.
