Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician at our West Chester, OH site. The role focuses on safe operation, equipment reliability and proactive troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to unscheduled calls, and collaborate with a skilled team to keep production running smoothly. A valid maintenance background and the ability to work 6 days a week are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year as Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Experience with electric motors up to 480V and related components.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair and maintain industrial machinery for reliability.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Respond to floor calls, troubleshoot and repair with urgency.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and leadership.
• Inspect, repair or analyze mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic components.
• Use hand and power tools and measurement instruments.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
• Work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Problem-solve with team to address complex issues.
