Job summary
Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on our production equipment. You will operate in a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 rotation, with overtime, weekends and holidays required.
Join a team that keeps corrugated packaging equipment running safely and reliably, using MP2 CMMS to manage work orders and read blueprints and schematics. Prior industrial maintenance experience is essential.
Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical controls, PLCs, motors, and drives.
- Knowledge of single- and three-phase systems up to 480 V.
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Computer skills for maintenance documentation.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain VFDs, PLCs, motors, and instrumentation.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Support facility operations and minor repairs such as plumbing and lighting.
- Document work orders and interpret blueprints using CMMS.
