Job summary

The Doe Run Company seeks a Mechanical Maintenance I to maintain equipment and ensure process safety, minimizing downtime. This day shift role is based at Fletcher Surface, Centerville, MO, with potential location changes to support production across Viburnum Trend in Southeast Missouri.

Starting pay is $26.04/hour with a 5% targeted monthly bonus; benefits start day 1, and 80 hours of vacation accrue after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; maintenance training program or technical coursework recommended.
• It is required to pass aptitude test and heating program; driver’s license is required.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or auto repair can substitute formal education.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and provide scheduled maintenance.
• Work with Level II/III maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs.
• Assist in installation and modification of equipment.
• Support plant upgrades to improve production efficiency.
• Maintain storage, shipments, and waste container relocation as needed.
• Perform weekly hazardous waste inspections and follow EHS policies.
