Job summary

The Doe Run Company seeks an Instrumentation Technician to support operation by ensuring instrumentation is functional and calibrated while safely maintaining production goals. This day shift role is based at Fletcher Surface, Centerville, MO, with potential location changes within SEMO to support production needs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred, and 1 year of instrumentation experience. Travel and lifting requirements are moderate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with process control instrumentation, electrical and industrial electronics.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and calibrate instruments across various equipment for environmental compliance.
• Rebuild equipment including parts requisition, teardown and rebuild as needed.
• Install, program and calibrate new equipment; evaluate latest technologies for feasibility.
• Serve as project manager: scope, specifications, planning, budgeting, and contractor coordination.
• Train operational staff on proper equipment use.
• Create drawings and maintain records of maintenance projects.
• Contribute to preventative maintenance program for instrument techs.
• Adhere to EHS policies and support safe, compliant operations.
