Our client, a leader in nonwovens manufacturing, is seeking a LaboratoryTechnician to join their team. As a LaboratoryTechnician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, contributing to innovative process development and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: LaboratoryTechnician
Location: Maplewood, MN 100% onsite

Pay Range: $18 to $22
Duration 12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Configure, operate, and maintain process equipment, including labline systems
• Measure and characterize the properties of nonwoven materials off the production line
• Keep detailed records and communicate technical work and results effectively
• Follow and develop standard operating procedures while adapting to changing priorities and run plans
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, handling materials as needed

What's Needed?

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience with labline equipment and roll-to-roll or similar heavy industrial equipment in production or pilot plant settings
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-based, high-speed environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with safety gear including steeltoe shoes, hearing protection, and respiratory protection
• Willingness to adapt to evolving work plans and priorities
