Job summary

Experis in Maplewood, MN seeks a Laboratory Technician to join the Laboratory Support team. This 12-month contract position focuses on quality control and research initiatives, with responsibilities spanning analyses, data compilation, and test preparation in a fast-paced lab.

The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of lab or manufacturing experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities, while maintaining safety and equipment readiness in a 100% onsite environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or pilot plant environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and results orientation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient hand-eye coordination and ability to lift/carry at least 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, physical, and mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results of laboratory tests.
• Prepare materials for testing and execute test methods in accordance with industry standards.
• Support laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research.
• Ensure safety and productivity through proper maintenance and preparation of test equipment.
