Job description

Description: The primary function of this position is to provide mechanical integrity engineering support for the GOM Mechanical Integrity Program. The position is responsible for oversight of the GOM mechanical integrity inspection and repair programs for offshore topsides fixed equipment. This role also involves conducting fitness-for-service calculations and assessing thickness requirements for pressure vessels, exchangers, tanks, and piping in accordance with applicable API/ASME and National Board standards for topside pressure equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and execute Add/Change/Deletes to MI documentation (Inspection isometrics, CML updates on drawings, etc.).
2. Coordinate Add/Change/Deletes to IDMS data management (addition, deletion, or status updates of CMLs).
3. Coordinate the execution of the GOM Mechanical Integrity Program inspection and remediation tasks for assigned platforms.
4. Provide integrity engineering guidance and direction to offshore inspectors.
5. Perform engineering analysis of inspection results.
6. Determine the integrity alarm level of inspection findings per GOM procedures.
7. Perform Fitness for Service calculations to assess the remaining life of topside piping and pressure equipment.
8. Develop and implement integrity recommendations and corrective actions.
9. Ensure all inspection tasks are properly updated in the IDMS.
10. Implement APM/SAP workflows for Mechanical Integrity Program tasks.
11. Note: The job may require additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Mechanical Integrity Programs and inspection/corrosion management databases such as APM, especially in Oil & Gas Production, Petrochemical, or Refining facilities.
• Knowledge of integrity engineering practices and inspection program execution.
• Strong knowledge of fixed equipment integrity codes (API-579, 510, 570, ASME Sec VIII, B31.3, B31.8, B31.4).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and functions.
