Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a talented Mechanical Hardware Designer in Fremont, CA. The role focuses on mechanical component and assembly design, CAD modeling, and preparing manufacturing documentation.

You will create 3D layouts, harness routing, and supporting production drawings and BOMs. You will collaborate with manufacturing, product engineering, and supply chain teams while participating in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical component design and CAD modeling.
• Ability to interpret GD&T and generate manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with sheet metal, machining, and fabrication processes.

Pay: $38-$47/hr (Based on Experience)

We're looking for a talented Mechanical Hardware Designer with experience in mechanical component design, CAD modeling, and manufacturing documentation.

Key Skills:

• Siemens NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD tools
• Mechanical component & assembly design
• GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and manufacturing drawings
• Sheet metal, machining, and fabrication knowledge

Responsibilities Include:

• Design mechanical components and assemblies
• Create production drawings and BOMs
• Develop 3D CAD layouts and harness routing
• Collaborate with manufacturing, product engineering, supply chain, and program teams
