Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
- Experience estimating mechanical systems for commercial projects.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and building automation.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare accurate mechanical estimates for commercial projects from concept to construction documents.
- Build and maintain mechanical cost models and takeoffs for HVAC, plumbing and related systems.
- Analyze drawings, specs and BIM models to determine scope and pricing strategies.
- Support design-build and negotiated projects with preconstruction teams.
- Develop value engineering options to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
